Death Factory are a band from New York that plays death industrial/noise/power electronics and this is a review of their 2011 cassette "Chilling Impressions" which was released by No Visible Scars.
Synths and power electronics bring a death industrial sound to the music mixing in avant garde elements as well as a great amount of brutal harsh noise sound to the recording and they are the only musical instruments that are present on this recording.
Vocals and songwriting are all absent from this recording with the music being all instrumental, while the song themes are based on the horror films "Phantasm" and "Anthropophagus", as for the production it has a very dark, heavy, raw and primitive sound to it with t he 2 songs being long and epic in length.
In my opinion Death Factory are a very great sounding hybrid of death industrial, harsh noise, and power electronics and if you are a fan of that genre of music, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Feasting On Fear(Anthropophagis)". RECOMMENDED BUY.
